The Noor Pursuit Grant
For the things you’ve always wanted to do
One-time inaugural grantWhy this grant
Purpose
One of the things I’ve loved most about building House of Noor is meeting people who are so much more than their day jobs. We have instructors / facilitators who hold full-time jobs but also insist on teaching yoga, DJ-ing, creating art, dance, and pursue other passions in their free time.
House of Noor would like to celebrate that multi-hyphenate spirit and help make learning more accessible.
This October, in honor of my grandmother, Sharifah Noor who was born in October, and the women who came before us, we’re launching a small, one-time learning grant as a way of giving back to the Seattle community.
House of Noor will fund one person’s opportunity to pursue something they’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t had the resources to explore.
